What is a green credit card?

There’s no one definition of what a green credit card is, but they’re often considered to be a type of credit card that donates a portion of your eligible purchases to an organization that invests in climate action, is made from environmentally friendly materials, and/or partners with carbon mitigation programs to help you reduce your carbon footprint. In some cases, you may receive reward points or cash back for your purchases at sustainable businesses.
