How is interest calculated in my Aspiration Save account?

Follow

Aspiration Save accounts can earn up to 2.00% annual percentage yield (APY) in interest. There are two ways to qualify for the 2.00% APY rate on your entire Aspiration Save account’s balance during any particular month:

• Make one deposit of at least $1.00 into an Aspiration Spend or Aspiration Save account, or at least one $1.00 investment into any investment account from a linked, external bank account, or
• Have an end of day Save balance of $10,000.00 or higher for at least one day per month.

If you do not qualify for the 2.00% APY rate during a particular month, you will not earn any interest that month, so make saving at least $1.00 per month a habit!

Interest is deposited on the first business day of each month.

* Eligible deposits include ACH transfers into Aspiration Spend and Aspiration Save accounts from external bank accounts, transfers from money-transfer apps, incoming wire transfers, and direct deposits."
