Daily limits / Availability of funds

For security reasons, and to guard you against identity theft, we have the following limits in place for your first 30 days as an account holder:

Daily Limits for the first 7 calendar days:
$100 Outgoing Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)
$1,000 Incoming Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)
$500 ATM Withdrawal limit
$4,000 Total PIN & Signature based limit

Then, for the remaining 23 calendar days:
$500 Outgoing Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)
$1,000 Incoming Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)
$500 ATM Withdrawal limit
$4,000 Total PIN & Signature based limit

After this initial 30 day timeframe:
$5,000 Outgoing Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)
$1,000 Incoming Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)
$1,000 ATM Withdrawal limit
$4,000 Total PIN & Signature based limit

Please note the above transfer limits only apply to transfers scheduled within the Aspiration online platform. Transfers scheduled from an external account are subject to the limits of the external financial institution.

You may transfer between Aspiration Spend and Aspiration Save up to 50 times per day. These transfers can be scheduled any time and are only subject to the amount available within the account. 


Electronic transfers:

Electronic, or ACH, transfers initiated by 2pm PT on a business day will process 4 business days from that date. If scheduled after that cutoff time, or a non-business day, the transfer will process in 5 business days. 

Wire transfers:

Outgoing wire transfers must be scheduled on a business day before the applicable cutoff time to be debited same day. International wire transfers must be scheduled by 11am PT, and domestic wire transfers must be scheduled by 1pm PT.

Incoming wire transfers received by 12pm PT should be credited same day, but are subject to the sending bank’s processing times.

Please note: Outgoing wires transfers can't be completed within the first 90 days of account opening.

Mobile check deposits:

"For mobile deposit only to Aspiration Financial" must be written on the back of your check, under your endorsement, to be accepted. Checks deposited via the mobile app become available 1-2 business days* after being deposited.

If deposited before 2pm PT on a business day, the funds will become available 1 business day after the day of deposit. If deposited after that daily cutoff time, or on a non-business day, the funds will become available 2 business days after the day of deposit.

* Please note that checks deposited within the first 30 days an account is open are subject to a 5 business day hold. Checks deposited after the 30 day mark may also be subject to a 5 business day hold on a case-by-case basis.
