Plant Your Change Offer Terms and Conditions
Offer is valid for new and existing Aspiration Financial, LLC customers with Spend & Save Cash Management Accounts. Joint account owners are considered one customer for the purpose of the promotion. Customer must have the Plant Your Change feature turned on and use their Aspiration debit card to make qualifying transactions. Promotional payment is incremental and depends on the number of qualified transactions (“milestones”). Milestones are measured as follows: 30 trees planted - $5 payment, 100 trees planted - $10 payment ($15 cumulative), 500 trees planted - $25 payment ($40 cumulative), 1000 trees planted - $50 payment ($90 cumulative), 2500 trees planted - $100 payment ($190 cumulative), 5000 trees planted - $200 payment ($390 cumulative). Maximum $390 cumulative payment per customer. Debit card transactions must fully settle before qualifying for Plant Your Change, which may take several business days.
Payments will be deposited into the customer's Spend & Save Account within one (1) business day after the customer reaches the respective tree planting milestone. If the customer's Spend & Save Account is closed prior to a milestone payment being made, the milestone payment is forfeited and will not be paid. All applicable account terms, fees, and charges are subject to change. Fraud or illegal activity may void rewards, retroactively reverse rewards, and may subject the account holder to legal action. Plant Your Change Overview
Aspiration Partners, Inc. (“Aspiration”) and its subsidiaries, Aspiration Financial, LLC and Aspiration Card Services, LLC, offer separate Plant Your Change Services, as described below.
In general, Plant Your Change is a service which rounds-up all Eligible Transactions made on a daily basis (from $0.01 to $0.99), and sweeps the round-up amount as a Service Fee to a Plant Your Change Service account. Any Eligible Transaction that is not a whole-dollar transaction (i.e., $XX.01 to $XX.99) is rounded up for this Service. Whole-dollar transactions ($XX.00) are not considered transactions that are rounded up for this Service.
The Plant Your Change Service then plants a tree for each completed Eligible Transaction through a tree-planting partner preselected by Aspiration. The Plant Your Change Service Fee encompasses the cost of the tree through a preselected tree-planting partner and costs incurred by Aspiration and its subsidiaries in administering the Plant Your Change Service (including marketing and maintenance). The remainder of the Plant Your Change Service Fee beyond the costs described above, if any, is retained by Aspiration and/or its subsidiaries.

Eligible Transactions
All posted purchase transactions made with your Aspiration Spend & Save Debit Card are Eligible Transactions when you opt in to Plant Your Change with your Spend & Save Aspiration Debit Card.
All posted purchases transactions made with your external Debit or Credit Card you link to Aspiration’s Plant Your Change External Service are Eligible Transactions.
All posted purchases made with your Aspiration Zero Credit Card (as applicable) are Eligible Transactions subject to the limitations in this paragraph. Pending transactions, transactions for fees or interest charges that we charge you, returns, adjustments, and payments of existing Credit Card balance are not Eligible Transactions. Transactions for cash equivalents such as money orders and prepaid gift cards, casino gaming chips, lottery tickets, and online gambling are also not Eligible Transactions. Transactions that are later reversed, for example, because you returned something you purchased, are not Eligible Transactions. Cash advances, including purchases of cash equivalents of any kind, balance transfers, convenience check amounts, purchases we believe to have been made by or for a commercial purpose, Credit Card account fees, interest charges, credit insurance, gambling fees, credit protection, debt cancellation charges and unauthorized or fraudulent transactions do not qualify as Eligible Transactions. Any Credit Card transaction conducted or effectuated while you are in default of the relevant Cardholder Agreement does not qualify as Eligible Transactions, unless otherwise permitted by us. We reserve the right to determine, in our sole discretion, whether a particular transaction is an Eligible Transaction.
Plant Your Change for the Aspiration Spend & Save Account:
The Aspiration Spend & Save Plant Your Change program offered by Aspiration Financial, LLC and is an optional service that rounds-up Eligible Transactions made on a daily basis (from $0.01 to $0.99), sweeps the round-up as a Service Fee to a Plant Your Change Service account, and plants one tree for every Eligible Transaction through a pre-selected tree-planting partner.
If a particular transaction has placed your Aspiration Spend Account in overdraft status, we do not implement the Plant Your Change Service Fee for that transaction. If a linked transaction is subsequently canceled or reversed, the corresponding Plant Your Change Service Fee may remain as a debit to your account. Aspiration Financial, LLC may cancel or modify the Service at any time and without notice. Fraud or illegal activity may void participation, and may subject the account holder to legal action. Customer may cancel, pause, or limit the Service at any time.
Plant You Change for External Accounts:
Plant Your Change External is an additional and optional service provided by Aspiration Financial, LLC that links a customer’s external bank accounts to their Aspiration dashboard, tracks external transactions, calculates the amount needed to round-up a tracked external Eligible Transaction to the nearest whole dollar (from $0.01 to $0.99), and deducts as the Plant Your Change Service Fee (Service Fee) the calculated amount from the customer’s valid payment source. The Service Fee(s) will be deducted from the chosen payment source for each rounded-up transaction, and may aggregate multiple round-ups per day into one payment deduction.
The Plant Your Change External Service is not a securitized product or investment and participation in the service should not be considered an offer to purchase any security or investment. Aspiration Financial, LLC may cancel or modify the Service at any time and without notice. Fraud or illegal activity may void participation, and may subject the account holder to legal action. Customer may cancel, pause, or limit the Service at any time. Customers may link or unlink external accounts to or from the Service at any time.
Plant Your Change for the Aspiration Zero Account:
Customers of Aspiration Card Services, LLC who have an Aspiration Zero Credit Card may earn tree-planting Rewards through each of the following programs: (1) A Swipe for a Tree, (2) Plant Your Change, (3) Cash Back Rewards.
(1) A Swipe for a Tree
The Aspiration Rewards Program includes the "A Swipe for a Tree" program. Under A Swipe for a Tree, Aspiration will pay for the planting of one (1) tree for each Eligible Transaction you make with your Card.
(2) Plant Your Change
The Aspiration Zero Plant Your Change program is an optional service that rounds-up Eligible Transactions made on a daily basis (from $0.01 to $0.99), sweeps the round-up as a Service Fee to a Plant Your Change Service account, and plants one tree for every Eligible Transaction through a pre-selected tree-planting partner. When approved for a Zero card, Plant Your Change will automatically be enabled, meaning that each purchase you make will be rounded up to plant a second tree. You may opt–out of The Plant Your Change program and continue to receive rewards under the "A Swipe for a Tree" and "Cash Back Rewards" programs. (3) Cash Back Rewards Program
Cash Back Rewards can be allocated toward either planting trees at $1 per tree, or applied as a statement credit to reduce your credit balance. You can choose how your Cash Back Rewards are used through the Manage Rewards page of the Aspiration mobile application or website before the end of the payment period; otherwise the Cash Back Rewards will, by default, be split evenly between planting trees and credit statement rewards. Trees planted through Cash Back Rewards help reduce your carbon footprint, but are not counted toward the 60 trees that must be planted through the Plant Your Change and A Swipe for a Tree programs to be eligible for the 1% Reward.
