Do you offer joint accounts?


Yes! Anyone who does not already have a Summit account open today, who meets the eligibility criteria, can apply to open either an Individual or Joint Summit account.

Customers who already have an Individual Summit account that was opened after September 20, 2017 will see an option to add a second owner to their account, converting their Individual account to a Joint account.

Unfortunately, customers who opened their Summit account prior to September 20, 2017 are not able to add second owners to their accounts at this time. We are actively working on making this possible, and hope to have a solution in the near future. 

You do have the option of adding a beneficiary to your account in the meantime! You can find the beneficiary form in our Resource Center
