Why was my Account Closed?
Aspiration will always email you if your account has been restricted or closed. Please refer to and reply to the email you received if you have questions about an account that is closed.
Common reasons Aspiration may close your account include but are not limited to:
- If your account balance was negative for more than 60 days
- If you no longer reside in the US, as we only offer accounts to US residents
- If you have used your personal account for business purposes or illegal activity
- If your account has been dormant (no login activity, contact or transactions) for two years
- If your account reaches a 0 balance after a period of inactivity longer than 6 months
