Daily limits / Availability of funds

For security reasons, and to guard you against identity theft, we have the following limits in place for your first 30 days as an account holder that you are subject to:

 

Daily limits for the first seven (7) calendar days:

$100 Outgoing Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)
$1,000 Incoming Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)†
$500 ATM Withdrawal limit

$2,500 ATM cash deposit limit (daily)

$5,000 ATM cash deposit limit (weekly)

$4,000 Total PIN & Signature based limit
$4,530 Total Daily Card Limit


Then, for the remaining twenty-three (23) calendar days:

$500 Outgoing Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)
$1,000 Incoming Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)†
$500 ATM Withdrawal limit

$5,000 ATM cash deposit limit (weekly)

$10,000 ATM cash deposit limit (monthly)
$4,000 Total PIN & Signature based limit
$4,530 Total Daily Card Limit


After this initial 30-day timeframe:

$5,000 Outgoing Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)
$1,000 Incoming Transfers (ACH/Bank Transfers)†

$5,000 ATM cash deposit limit (weekly)

Debit Card

The physical debit card and digital debit card each have their own separate limit. Both can be combined to make a larger purchase if payment can be split between the two.

Please note the above transfer limits only apply to transfers scheduled within the Aspiration online platform. Transfers scheduled from an external account are subject to the limits of the external financial institution.

After you've been with us for 90 days, your incoming ACH transfer limits may vary depending on your account. If you attempt to schedule a transfer over your limit, we'll let you know in the app.

You may transfer between Aspiration Spend and Aspiration Save up to 50 times per day and up to 150 times per rolling 30 day period. These transfers can be scheduled any time and are only subject to the amount available within the account.


Wire Transfers

Outgoing domestic wire transfers must be scheduled before the applicable cutoff of 1:00 pm PT to be debited that same day.

Outgoing international wire transfers must be scheduled by 11:00 am PT to be debited the same day, and take 2-4 business days to process.

Incoming wire transfers are credited the same business day they are received. Contact the sending institution to ensure the wire transfer is sent before their daily cutoff time, otherwise it may only be received by Aspiration the following business day. 

 

Mobile Check Deposits

To be accepted, "For Mobile Deposit Only at Aspiration" must be written on the back of your check under your endorsement. Checks deposited via the mobile app become available 1-2 business days after being deposited.

If deposited before 2:00 pm PT on a business day, the funds will become available one (1) business day after the day of deposit. If deposited after that daily cutoff time or on a non-business day, the funds will become available two (2) business days after the day of deposit.

Check funds should be reflected in your available balance for use by 5:00 pm PT on the day the deposit is set to be available.

Please note that checks deposited within the first 30 days an account is open are subject to a 5-business-day hold; checks deposited after the 30-day mark may also be subject to a 5-business-day hold on a case-by-case basis.

 

†ACH (Bank transfer) limits may vary and will depend on the information obtained when linking your external account via Plaid. The above transfer limits only apply to transfers scheduled within the Aspiration in-app (Responsive Web and Mobile App) platform(s); transfers scheduled from an external account into an Aspiration account are subject to the limits of the external financial institution. After you’ve been with us for 90 days, your incoming ACH transfer limits may vary depending on your account. Our system will alert you if you attempt to schedule a transfer that is over your limit.

 

*The initial transfer limits are the maximum amount of funds that can be transferred into Aspiration. These limits are determined by the information retrieved during the initial account linking process, including the available balance from your linked account. During your account setup and initial funding, you have the option to transfer a lesser amount based on your funding preference for your Aspiration account.
