Throughout the year you may receive three different types of documentation:
Account Statements: These statements, sent quarterly, will give you a current overview of your account. You will receive an email when they become available after the end of each quarter.
- To access your statements, sign in to your account on our website, and click on “Settings.” Then scroll down on the page and select “Investment Statements and Tax Documents.” From this page, you'll see a list of your trade confirmations, quarterly statements, and tax documents sorted by date. Click on the desired date to view the document.
Tax Forms: As an investor in the Redwood Fund, you will receive a Form 1099 reporting any income resulting from your investment. You will receive an email notifying you that your Form 1099 is available to be downloaded by February 15th.
- Your 1099 form will be available in the same section in your Settings, within Statements and Documents →Investment Statements and Tax Documents.
Charity Receipts: Charitable contributions made are 100% tax deductible. Anytime you make a donation you will receive a charity receipt. In January we will also provide you with a giving overview that includes all of the information you will need to file your taxes.
- To access those receipts, please click through to your Settings → Statements and Documents → Client Agreements and Charity Receipts.
