How can I Buy/Sell shares from my Investment Account?

Anytime you would like to buy or sell shares, you can do so by following the steps below:

 

From the App:

  1. Open the app and login
  2. tap Manage
  3. tap Buy/Sell
  4. tap Buy or Sell Shares, then choose the account
  5. Tap on Buy Shares or Sell Shares
  6. Fill in the details, and tap Preview
  7. Review the details and tap Place this order

From the Website:

  1. Log in to your account
  2. Click on your investment account tile
  3. On the left side of the screen, click the tile for Buy/Sell Redwood
  4. Click Buy or Sell Shares
  5. Fill in the details and click Go to Aspiration Funds and Place My order
  6. Review the details and click Place My Order and Return to the Aspiration Financial Website

 

Please note: Our policy requires that you hold purchased shares for at least 7 business days before being able to sell them. After this period, you may buy or sell shares on any day the markets are open.

 

Additionally, if you sell shares within the first 60 days of purchase, the proceeds can only be returned to the bank account that was used to fund the purchase.
